What has stood out most is their willingness to jump in and figure things out. If they didn't know the answer, they took the initiative to explore the systems, learn, and gain the understanding needed to help others succeed. That level of ownership and commitment is truly appreciated. It's also especially rewarding to see team members who are eager to grow their careers. Kaylen has expressed an interest in becoming a Catering Sales Manager, and at OTO Development, we are passionate about developing our people and creating opportunities for them to take the next step in their professional journey. Thus, our summer interns spent a volunteer day 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, stuffing backpacks to make sure local children head back to school with everything they need to learn, grow, and succeed. #UnitedForStudents is a school supply drive — organized by our friends at United Way of the Piedmont — that mobilizes the community to donate backpacks and essential items like notebooks, binders, pencils, markers, crayons, glue sticks, and more for children in need across Cherokee, Spartanburg, and Union counties. This annual effort alleviates the financial burden on families who might otherwise have to choose between school supplies and basic needs like food.
