  • OEE tells you what happened. It doesn't tell you why. 🔍 Was it the machine, or the process? Answering that is the difference between chasing symptoms and unlocking real operational gains. Join AssetWatch® and Oden Technologies for a live webinar: Beyond the OEE Number: Diagnosing Machine vs. Process to Unlock True Operational Gains. We'll break down how to pinpoint the true source of lost performance on the plant floor, and turn one number into action. 🗓 Oct 15 · 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT Save your spot 👇 https://lnkd.in/dqVWXDeD #Manufacturing #OEE #Reliability #IndustrialAI #PredictiveMaintenance

  • Big news: we've partnered with AssetWatch® to connect predictive maintenance with real-time production intelligence! 🚀 Most manufacturers still run maintenance on the calendar: servicing lightly used machines too often, and missing risk on the ones running hardest. Together, we're changing that. AssetWatch® brings deep intelligence of every asset to catch failures before they happen; Oden brings wide intelligence of the entire process to turn those alerts into operator guidance and action. The result: less downtime, better throughput, higher quality. AssetWatch protects the machine. Oden Technologies optimizes the run. 📰 Read the announcement → https://lnkd.in/drfCeSu8 📅 See it live: Join us for our webinar, Beyond the OEE Number: Diagnosing Machine vs. Process to Unlock True Operational Gains, on Thursday, October 15 at 2:00 PM ET for a live look at how asset health and production intelligence come together on the plant floor. • 👉🏻 👉🏻 Great article to read in detail about how frontier LLMs are being used to enhance Root Cause Analysis and bring visibility to the hardest problems in Manufacturing. Written by Joe Youssouf, Senior Data Scientist at Oden Technologies Read more: https://lnkd.in/gtcvBryV #manufacturing #ai #odentechnologies #productionline

When a manufacturing line fails unexpectedly, it leaves behind a trail of data that mostly goes untouched. It turns out, agents are exceptional at pulling together line-specific context and drafting reasonable physics-based hypotheses about why a failure happened. So, what happens if you let frontier agents explore your data autonomously, generate hypotheses, write code to test them, and surface only the explanations the data supports? What if every unexpected event on the line came with a data-driven root cause recap? This "Agentic Root Cause Analysis" harness is exactly what we've been building at Oden. I wrote a piece on our engineering blog about how it works, and how it amplifies our existing stats and ML-based approaches: https://lnkd.in/gERbUkst It’s proving to be an effective way to investigate timeseries data at scale, particularly for problems where the underlying causes are ambiguous or poorly understood. This technology is evolving fast. Let's make sure the people and industries that keep the world moving stand to gain the most from it!

  • Congrats to Joe Youssouf🥇 first place at the Google DeepMind × GDG Waterloo "Triage In Light Speed" hackathon. In just 7 hours, Joseph and his teammates Hargun Bhalla and Corey Barron built RaceMind: a self-learning platform that turns millisecond-level telematics from hundreds of onboard sensors into faster lap times and smarter race-day decisions for rally drivers. What stood out to us: instead of a black-box model, they built an "agent-in-the-loop" layer that learns from user feedback and stays readable, auditable, and correctable by the people using it. That's exactly what we believe in at Oden: putting AI in the hands of the front line in a way they can actually trust and steer. Take it for a spin (desktop only for now): https://lnkd.in/dhg39_eT Proud to have you on the team, Joseph!! 👏

Hey all! On Saturday, I hit the road from Windsor to Waterloo to join the Google DeepMind and Google Developer Group - University of Waterloo hackathon: "Triage In Light Speed". I placed first 🥇, alongside my teammates Hargun Bhalla and Corey Barron, and I wanted to share our project for those who may be interested! In the 7 hours available, my team and I built "RaceMind", a proof of concept self-learning platform for hobby and professional rally car drivers to improve lap times and race-day decision-making. I've hosted the demo online for anyone who wants to click around in the platform and check it out! I'm pretty proud of how far this got in the limited time we had available to build it: Hosted: https://lnkd.in/gSY83xNj (Only configured for Desktop currently!) Special thanks to SPUR Innovation Center for hosting us and to Ali El-Sharif for inspiring me to go in the first place! Thank you! --- For the technically curious: RaceMind uses millisecond-level streaming telematics data (simulated) from hundreds of onboard sensors like acceleration, temperatures, and more. Novel to the platform was an "agent-in-the-loop" noise-filtering system that sits between our physical/ML models and users. This layer simultaneously "learns" - via continuous prompt management driven by user feedback and platform interactions - and "teaches" - via model threshold adjustments, alert noise reduction, and much more. Historically, we could solve this problem with learned recommendation weights inside a trained neural network or other black-box model, but I believed our users would appreciate a natural language interpretation layer that can be read, audited, and corrected manually. Rally engineers are hands-on builders! This same layer helps achieve our ultimate goal of converting the most interesting findings into race-day playbooks. We also built a real-time hardware alerting device using a native mobile app - standing in for a specialized in-vehicle comms unit, to deliver audible race-day alerts to drivers. I brought the idea for RaceMind to the team, drawing on the past 5-6 years I've spent building predictive applications, and it was a lot of fun to design and develop!

  • We can't wait for Extrusion Conference taking place in Austin, Texas on August 18. It will be hot especially with our President & Co-Founder, Peter Brand, taking the stage on Day 2! Extrusion manufacturers are sitting on more data than ever — but most are still stuck with systems of record instead of a single system of action. Siloed data and process complexity mean frontline operators often don't get insights in time to prevent downtime or loss. Join Peter Brand at 8 am on Day 2 as he breaks down how leading plastics manufacturers are turning the data they already have into a real-time AI copilot for their operators — one that drives decisions on the floor, not just dashboards in an office. If you're serious about accelerating training, improving retention, and generating measurable ROI from your manufacturing data — this is a session you don't want to miss.
