OCC's July 2026 monthly volume data is out — and the headline is that growth is broad-based, but not even. The data is available here: https://lnkd.in/eSDBsB2i Key highlights: ● July capped another month of growth for the options market, with total volume up nearly 26% year-over-year. Year-to-date average daily volume now running above 71 million contracts. ● ETF options are up 59% year-over-year, reflecting the growing role of ETFs in both retail and institutional investors’ position in the market. ● Index options volume increased nearly 34% in July. Investors are continuing to use index products proactively for ongoing portfolio management rather than solely during periods of stress. ● Average daily loan value was up sharply (+28.8%), while total transaction count fell (-6.5%), suggesting larger average loan sizes rather than an increase in overall lending activity. #OptionsMarket #VolumeData
