GREAT NEWS! "The People's EMS" have been serving Bed-Stuy for more than 30 years and now they officially own their homebase! 🚑 DCAS is proud to have completed the transfer of three city-owned properties to the Bedford-Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corps, giving the vollies a permanent home for their lifesaving work. For an organization that responds to more than 2,000 calls a year, providing CPR, first aid, and other community programs, this is a big reason to celebrate. Here’s to the next chapter! 🎉❤️ #DCAS #EMS #BedStuy #Brooklyn #GoodNews
