AutoForm Group and Novelis are pleased to deepen their collaboration to advance aluminum forming simulation and digital process development for the automotive industry. By combining AutoForm Group's leading simulation technology and tribology models with Novelis' expertise in aluminum materials, surface engineering, and friction behavior, the collaboration aims to improve the prediction quality of aluminum sheet forming processes and better reflect real production conditions. This joint effort focuses on enhancing friction modelling, material behavior prediction, and the overall accuracy of forming simulations. Improved prediction quality can deliver significant benefits across the die-making and manufacturing process for aluminum components, reducing tool tryout loops, shortening lead times, lowering costs, and improving production robustness. By enabling more reliable virtual validation and faster development cycles, these advancements help automotive manufacturers accelerate the industrialization of next-generation lightweight vehicle components. Part of this collaboration will be the extension of the TriboForm material card library to include Novelis materials, initially covering the European portfolio and later expanding to other regions. There's something special about being able to show your family where you work and the impact you help create every day. Since 2023, our Family Day in Brazil has welcomed more than 1,500 visitors, including friends and family members of Novelis employees, to our plants in Pindamonhangaba and Santo André, as well as our aluminum scrap collection centers and Central Office. Through more than 20 visits, over 400 employees have shared their workplace with loved ones, creating moments of pride, learning, and connection. An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is now available for Novelis ff2®, our pre-painted aluminum solution designed for architectural facade applications. Novelis ff2® with the newly developed Novelis HDCC paint system which has the same quality level as the PVDF paint system used in the past for Novelis pre-painted aluminum products and with >70% recycled content is used for facade cladding in both ventilated and non-ventilated systems and is supplied as a semi-finished product that can be adapted to a wide range of architectural and industrial applications. Developed in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804 +A2 and independently verified, the EPD provides transparent and reliable environmental data for building and construction projects. Novelis HDCC is based on the latest paint developments that meet the ever-changing sustainability and health requirements (REACH conformity according to 1907/2006). All Novelis Europe plants have been certified to the international Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) on both the Performance Standard and the Chain of Custody Standards.
