Monro Teammates joined over 6,000 volunteers last week for the 31st annual United Way Day of Caring in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region. Representing more than 200 workplaces, these volunteers completed 425 projects for 180 nonprofit organizations across six counties in New York State. Our Teammates had the exciting opportunity to volunteer at Mercy Flight Central in Canandaigua, a nonprofit provider of 24/7 air medical services that delivers high-quality patient care to the critically ill or injured. We were honored to assist this incredible organization by sprucing up the building's exterior and completing some outdoor beautification projects. Thank you, United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes, for organizing this great event!

We are pleased to announce that Nick Hawryschuk has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Operations. In his new role, Nick will lead all aspects of our retail and commercial operations. He is responsible for developing and executing Monro’s strategy and implementation plan to further strategic goals. “Nick’s proven experience in finance and operations has been vital to Monro. I’m confident that we will continue to drive critical operational improvements and expand the capabilities of our organization under his leadership,” said Mike Broderick, President and CEO. Nick joined Monro as Vice President – Finance in 2020 before being promoted to Vice President – Finance and Operations Support in 2022. His role was expanded when he was appointed Vice President – Finance and Operations in 2024, overseeing our Finance, Loss Prevention, and Operations Support Teams, as well as leading and growing our Fleet and Strategic Accounts business and our global Call Center. #OneTeamOneMonro #promotion
