The Mohawk team recently provided funding for LifeVac kits to equip the City of Summerville, Georgia's Police and Fire Departments with the simple, life-saving tool! LifeVac is a noninvasive, nonpowered, portable ACD (Airway Clearance Device) used to remove an object from a victim's airway when choking. We are grateful for the opportunity to supply these essential tools to our public safety officials and the community!

Recycle More with Mohawk! ♻️ Recently, nine team members from Mohawk volunteered for the local Fear My Heart Chickamauga Lake Cleanup in Tennessee. Volunteers across nine countries participated in the cause, cleaning up 70 lakes and removing over 15,000 pounds of trash from waterways worldwide. 🌎 As part of our commitment to sustainability, all salvageable plastic bottles collected during the cleanup were sent to our Summerville facility. They will be recycled and turned into yarn for our flooring products! We are proud of our employees who dedicate their time to making a real impact! 👏

Mohawk was proud to sponsor this year’s Back to School Bash with the Latin American Association of Northwest Georgia this past Saturday! Thanks to the support of our volunteers and community partners, 600 local students are now ready to kick off the school year with backpacks full of supplies! 🎒✏️ Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make a difference for students across Whitfield County, and to the LAA for hosting such a great event. 👏👏

Our 2025 Summer Intern class has been busy! Last week, groups took time away from their busy schedules to volunteer at multiple United Way agencies in Calhoun and Dalton, Georgia! Today, we’re sharing a heartwarming story about one of our Dal-Tile employees, Zach, a Maintenance Technician at our tile manufacturing facility in Florence, AL. After leaving his shift, Zach’s quick thinking and compassion saved a man’s life!   A man was driving down the road when he suddenly started to choke. In distress, he quickly pulled into the parking lot at the Florence facility. Zach immediately noticed something was wrong and performed the Heimlich maneuver, saving the man’s life! Zach credited his recent first aid training, led by one of Florence’s Healthy Life Center nurses, for giving him the knowledge and confidence to take action. We’re incredibly proud of Zach for his courage, quick thinking, and compassion. His actions are a powerful reminder of the impact one person can make. Thank you, Zach! 🙌 Dal-Tile LLC

Recently, we welcomed 14 rising high school seniors and college freshmen to our Calhoun Campus for Mohawk's annual Future Leaders Week. During the week, students shadowed employees across multiple departments, toured facilities, and participated in hands-on development sessions. This program was designed for students to engage Mohawk leaders throughout the week, focusing on leadership training, career shadowing, and other educational activities. We have no doubt the participants have bright futures ahead! Congratulations! 👏

The Mohawk team was proud to participate in a panel at the recent Georgia Association for Career & Technical Education Conference! Talent Acquisition team members Laura and Jonathan joined Dr. Barbara Wall, the CTAE Deputy Superintendent for the State of Georgia, to discuss the importance of Work-Based Learning (WBL) programs and how they help students discover and prepare for future careers. Jonathan was a highlight of the panel, sharing his inspiring journey from WBL student to full-time team member. His story is an excellent example of the impact WBL programs can have in helping students find meaningful career paths.
