Metrea recently completed two aerial firefighting demonstrations in Sardinia and Greece, showcasing FIRESWIFT to customers from across Europe and North Africa. Operating in both coastal and peri-urban wildfire scenarios, FIRESWIFT demonstrated precision suppressant delivery, rapid turnaround times, and integrated Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. On 28 May, we welcomed 50 cross-sector stakeholders to Buckminster, UK, for a live demonstration of Metrea's Electromagnetic and Cyber capabilities. From military and academia to industry and policy, the day brought together diverse perspectives on one shared challenge: how do we stay ahead of evolving UAS threats? Two themes stood out: protecting critical infrastructure and the growing role of insurable assets in future defence models. Following an overview from our teams, attendees saw live demonstrations of CANARY, FINCH, FLAMINGO, VESPA, DRACO, REDTAIL, and SWIFTSTORM in realistic conditions. Metrea is proud to have been selected as part of the industry team delivering the UK Ministry of Defence SOTERIA programme. Led by CGI, Metrea will join SRC, MASS and DXC Technology to provide vital support to the Joint Electronic Warfare Operational Support Centre, helping to sustain and enhance mission-critical Electromagnetic Warfare Operational Support capabilities across UK Defence. Metrea has drawn on its expertise in ISR operations, data exploitation, and advanced defense technologies to develop a multi‑mission aerial firefighting solution.   FIRESWIFT combines precision drop capability with advanced surveillance and communications to improve how wildfires are detected, tracked, targeted, and suppressed.   At its core is an intelligence‑led firefighting loop. This follows a continuous cycle of detect, decide, act, and assess. Using EO/IR sensing, FIRESWIFT enables early detection and persistent monitoring of fire behaviour, generating live intelligence. This is integrated into a shared Common Operating Picture to support decision‑making at every level.   FIRESWIFT works alongside existing multi‑domain assets to maximise suppression effectiveness. Airborne mission management extends command and control, while near real‑time feedback shows how effective each drop is and how the fire perimeter is changing. This data, combined with weather and satellite inputs, builds a clear and shared understanding of the situation.   These insights continuously refine detection priorities and suppression tactics. By shortening decision timelines and improving performance with every cycle, FIRESWIFT helps limit fire growth and strengthen overall wildfire response. #AerialFirefighting
