This is one of many inspiring stories featured in our Talks in Ten series—short, impactful conversations that showcase the essential role of FQHCs in their communities and why we must ensure they continue to thrive. High-quality clinical documentation is a key element of driving value-based care success. Indiana Health Centers, Inc., part of the MHN Health Alliance ACO in the Medicare Shared Savings Program, meaningfully improved clinical documentation accuracy. Their strategy included: • Reviewing Medicare documentation requirements at every provider meeting • Collaboration between physicians and advanced practice providers • Integrating MHN’s MSSP training • Leveraging eClinicalWorks tools to close coding gaps Keep up the great work IHC! #IndianaHealthCenters #MHN

A recent The New York Times Times investigation shed light on the soaring costs of certain skin substitute products in Medicare. For FQHCs in Medicare value-based care arrangements, these high-cost treatments can significantly increase total expenditures, jeopardizing shared savings, and challenging value-based care objectives. https://lnkd.in/gPsnEaEY #FQHCs #Medicare
