CHAMPIONS SPOTLIGHT: Congratulations and best of luck to Semaj Harris, who began work this month as a pre-apprentice plumber at Marick Mechanical! As a member of Cohort 7 of the CHAMPIONS Initiative, Semaj took part in intensive technical training and wraparound professional development over the summer to prepare for an enriching new career in the pipe trades. He will continue to receive targeted mentorship and peer support over the coming year as he progresses toward apprenticeship. We're so appreciative of the opportunity to partner with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 562 to bring exceptional tradespeople like Semaj into our local skilled workforce.

We celebrated the CHAMPIONS' graduation today -- a culmination of the hard work and preparation that filled these extraordinary individuals' summer, and a powerful start to the next chapter of their journey into the pipe trades. This week, our install team provided familiarization training to our service technicians at the newly completed CO₂ system they installed during a remodel project in Wichita. This gave the service team a chance to see where everything was located and an overview of how to trouble shoot the new system. It was also a chance for our install team to showcase the quality of their work and the craftsmanship that went into completing this project. Seeing the transformation of this remodel from start to finish is something everyone involved can be proud of. Great work to our installation and service teams for continuing to learn from one another and delivering the level of service our clients expect. #MarickMechanical #CommercialRefrigeration
