Janet Faulhaber, RA, an architect and construction management professional, is a Sr. Project Manager at Laland Baptiste leading the $45M Buffalo Psychiatric Center Rehab of Adult Living Units and Rochester Schools Modernization Project Phase III Move Management. She joined Laland Baptiste in August 2024 with nearly 40 years of design, construction and management experience. During her career, Janet has had the opportunity to gain experience in the design, construction and Owner’s representation aspects of the industry. This gives her an ability to examine situations and understand the goals of the multiple stakeholders on a project. She assists in overseeing staff in the Western New York Region and is able to share her experience with upcoming young professionals. Janet’s career has centered around healthcare design and construction and has worked for a national level comprehensive cancer center as well as a regional healthcare system leading planning, design and construction. She also maintains her certification as a New York State Code Enforcement Official and serves as a founding board member of the Upstate New York Chapter of the Association of Medical Facilities Professionals. Outside of work, Janet enjoys her time cooking, gardening and restoring and maintaining her Victorian home built in 1870. When she breaks away from the daily routine, she enjoys time on the water boating. Next week is World Youth Skills Day, recognizing the importance of investing in the next generation of professionals who will shape the future of our industry.
