We built Enterprise Frontier Safeguards with more than 100 technology and security leaders at companies like Salesforce, Visa, Uber, and KPMG. 𝗜𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁 | KPMG became the first of the Big Four to achieve AIUC-1 certification, reinforcing our commitment to trusted, governed AI. Following our recent ISO 42001 certification, this independent validation confirms the security, reliability, and governance controls behind aIQ Capture, KPMG's agentic AI organizational intelligence platform. As organizations increasingly deploy AI agents across the enterprise, building confidence in how these systems operate is becoming essential. AIUC-1 provides a rigorous benchmark for demonstrating that AI systems can perform safely, reliably, and as intended under real-world conditions. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 ☕ As trade tensions between the U.S. and Canada intensify, automakers are grappling with yet another round of uncertainty. KPMG's Lenny LaRocca highlighted a challenge many manufacturers know well: while companies may look to adjust sourcing strategies in response to tariffs, supply chains cannot be moved overnight. Shifting suppliers takes time, requires significant investment, and can be especially difficult when certain materials and components have long relied on established Canadian sources. For automotive leaders, resilience remains just as important as flexibility.

AI can already speed up individual tasks. The bigger question for enterprise leaders is whether it can operate across the workflows, controls, and regulatory realities that actually run the business.    In our latest article, Chris Long and Kevin Bogle make the case for industry-built AI, technology designed around the specific conditions of a sector, not just general capability.    A few takeaways:  🔹 General-purpose AI helps with discrete tasks, but enterprise value comes from orchestrating work across the business  🔹 In regulated industries like financial services and legal, trust, data lineage, and governance are non-negotiable  🔹 Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services and Legal show what this looks like in practice, grounding outputs in verifiable sources with full data provenance  🔹 KPMG and Google Cloud are teaming up to bring this approach to high-value workflows in healthcare and finance transformation    For leaders, the shift is from proving what AI can do to deciding where it can be trusted to act.
