Employee engagement doesn’t end when the survey closes. The real work begins with understanding what employees are telling us and turning those insights into meaningful action. We recently welcomed Dr. Mike McDonald from Gallup to Kemin for a series of employee engagement debrief sessions with leaders from across the organization. Using insights from our 2026 Gallup Q12 Employee Engagement Survey, the conversations went beyond reviewing results. Leaders explored key themes, discussed what continues to drive engagement across Kemin, and considered where we have opportunities to strengthen the employee experience and organizational performance. One of the biggest takeaways: strong engagement requires continued attention. Listening matters, but what we do with what we hear matters even more. Thank you to Dr. Mike and the Gallup team for facilitating thoughtful, candid conversations and to our Kemin leaders for engaging in the discussion and continuing to prioritize our people.

Access to knowledge drives innovation. That's why Kemin proudly sponsored the publication of Novel Protein and Lipid Sources in Animal Nutrition: Applications in Aquaculture, Livestock Feed and Pet Food, helping make its content freely available through open-access distribution. By supporting the free dissemination of scientific knowledge, we hope to empower students, researchers, educators, and industry professionals worldwide. Because when knowledge is shared freely, everyone benefits. Read the book here: https://bit.ly/4qgquOy

We believe that innovation knows no borders—but success lies in understanding them. Our philosophy of “Think Global, Act Local” is more than a catchy phrase; it’s a strategy that drives how we develop, adapt, and deliver solutions that meet the unique needs of customers around the world. One compelling example of this philosophy in action is the evolution of our OLESSENCE™ product line in our Food Technologies group. Discover the whole story here: https://lnkd.in/euW9fA35

The journey from masa to a finished tortilla involves more than just ingredients. Factors like dough machinability, texture, quality consistency, and shelf life all play a role in delivering a product consumers expect. Enzyme technology can help manufacturers address these challenges while optimizing production and supporting product performance throughout the process. Explore how enzymes are helping shape tortilla production in our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/gUxjHyYe

Every summer, we look forward to a tradition that brings our Kemin family together. Our annual company picnic is more than just a fun afternoon. It’s a celebration of the people behind our science, innovation and impact. With team members, families, and plenty of laughter, it’s a reminder that strong connections are at the heart of everything we do.
