Major progress is underway at Keel’s Yonges Island, SC shipyard as Building 13 continues to take shape. This new high solids prep and paint facility represents a $22.3M investment and will add approximately 29,000 square feet of dedicated finishing capability. It is purpose built to accommodate the largest assemblies produced by Keel and marks an exciting milestone in our ongoing expansion.

Exciting news: we’ve broken ground on our second machine at our Gratiot facility as part of our $22 million investment in advanced precision machining capacity. This expansion enhances our ability to support the nation’s most demanding defense programs. The incoming Mecmill HP5 Horizontal Milling Machine, featuring a 50 ft. X‑axis and 50‑ton turntable, will be installed in our recently expanded 160,000 sq. ft. machining facility in Merrill, MI and operational by January 2027. Pushing precision manufacturing forward, one milestone at a time.
