A day well spent building something that matters. 👷♀️ 👷♂️ Our team recently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity on one of its current Denver housing projects, putting our construction skills to work framing and insulating homes, installing windows and braving a few heights along the way. Habitat for Humanity works alongside families and communities to create safe, affordable places to live. We are proud to support that work by providing our employees with paid volunteer hours each year, giving our people the opportunity to contribute their time and skills to causes that matter in the communities where we live and work. The day was also a fitting way to celebrate our beloved colleague Daryl Sage on his final day with IME before his well-earned retirement. After a career spent helping build our IT systems, we cannot think of a better way for him to have closed out this chapter. Thank you to our volunteers: Jeanette Lawler, Daryl Sage, Hannah González, Sergio Luevanos, Tyler Cwieka, Madonna Cecil, Kate Lambrecht and Thalia Garman for sweating it out! This summer, our interns have been getting a firsthand look at what it takes to build a career in construction, engineering, design and the business functions that support them. Across IME, they have been contributing to real projects, learning from experienced teams and gaining a clearer understanding of where their interests could take them.
