  • As AI systems become more powerful, the conversation around security has to expand with them. This week, new research drew attention to a growing concern in AI infrastructure: the hardware layer itself. Researchers demonstrated new GPU-based Rowhammer attacks that, in certain environments, could allow a malicious user to escalate privileges and compromise a host machine through vulnerabilities tied to shared Nvidia GPU memory. While these attacks are highly technical and there are no known cases of active exploitation in the wild, the implications are important. They reinforce something many organizations are only beginning to fully realize: AI security is not just about protecting the model. It is about protecting the entire environment AI depends on. That includes: • the model itself • the runtime and deployment environment • the underlying hardware • and the human systems interacting with it At the same time, it is encouraging to see the broader AI ecosystem evolving in parallel. Programs like the new Human-Computer Interaction PhD at MBZUAI (Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence) reflect a growing emphasis on building AI systems that are not only advanced but also transparent, understandable, and designed with people in mind. That shift matters. Because the future of AI will not be defined by capability alone. It will be defined by whether people can trust the systems they are using and whether organizations are building them responsibly from the ground up. At HydroX AI, we believe that trust in AI has to be built across every layer, not added in later. Security, transparency, and human-centered design are no longer separate conversations. They are becoming the foundation of what responsible AI looks like. #AISecurity #Cybersecurity #TrustworthyAI #AIInfrastructure #HumanCenteredAI #EnterpriseAI #HydroXAI

Earlier today, Cecilia Kang, a national technology correspondent for The New York Times, published a devastating article detailing a series of landmark trials that are finally forcing social media companies to answer for the harm done to children. The lawsuits allege that platforms owned by Meta, TikTok, Snap Inc. and YouTube knowingly designed addictive products for children despite internal research warning of anxiety, depression, body dysmorphia, and self-harm. Children as young as eight were pulled into systems built to keep them scrolling. Executives discussed how to make these platforms more addictive. Profit was prioritized while parents buried their children. That reality is not abstract, it is documented, internal, and now being litigated. This is not a failure of parenting. This is not a misunderstanding of technology. This is a failure of responsibility. At HydroX AI, these stories are exactly why we exist. AI has already been weaponized to capture attention, manipulate behavior, and maximize engagement even when the users are children. HydroX AI was built on a different belief that AI must be used to protect, not exploit. Child safety cannot rely on apologies, settlements, or policy debates that drag on for years while harm continues. It requires real-time protection, early intervention, and systems designed with children’s well-being at the core. The courts may decide liability. But as technologists, builders, and leaders, we must decide values. If you are a parent, educator, policymaker, or technology leader, now is the time to act. Learn more about HydroX AI Child Safety, support technology built to protect children, and help raise the standard for what safety in the digital world should look like. The future of our children depends on the choices we make today. HydroX AI is choosing to build technology that puts children first because the cost of inaction is one we can no longer afford. #ChildSafety #ProtectChildren #ResponsibleAI #TechAccountability #EthicalTechnology #HydroXAI https://lnkd.in/evkF3jEG

  • Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a small group session focused on sharing our technology, our purpose, and the growing importance of AI security in today’s world. As AI continues to evolve, conversations around trust, safety, and responsibility matter more than ever and this one truly delivered. A big thank you to Lily Mei, Yang Shao, Raymond L., and Corsair for joining us. We loved the thoughtful discussion, the ideas exchanged, and yes, the laughs we shared along the way. We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect in such a meaningful way and look forward to continuing these conversations as we build toward what’s next.
