Building a Better Workplace: Welcome Erin Miller, HR Administrator   ProBerco appointed Erin Miller as the new Human Resources Administrator. Her career spans over a decade of working in the human services field specializing in human resources. She worked as a Recruiter and advanced to Human Resources Generalist, and then to Director for a large corporation in human services. Erin is looking forward to expanding her professional role with ProBerco and relishes the opportunity to expand the Human Resources Department into a robust program for employees to gain the necessary skills to be successful in their roles and to help employees on their career journey. “I enjoy seeing people with no experience grow and move into their positions; finding their niche and excelling,” Erin said. The addition of a Career Development Director is one of the reasons Erin found the position attractive. By investing in quality training and preparing staff more effectively for their positions, Erin believes the corporation will experience an improvement in employee retention and recruitment.   We are confident that Erin's expertise and dedication will be invaluable as we continue to foster a supportive and dynamic workplace. ProBerco employees and consumers love the new ProBerco logo and used it as inspiration for our featured Christmas tree at this year’s Gring's Mill Festival of Lights. Stop by the Gring’s Mill, located at 2083 Tulpehocken Rd, Reading, PA 19610, to check out the beautiful tree decorated by the ProBerco Vocational Team. The festival begins Friday, December 6th at 5:30 p.m. and runs throughout the month. And be sure to visit Glick’s Nursery to see the wreath hand made by consumers in our Adult Training program for the Annual Poinsettia Show. Getting Ready for the Holidays! Our amazing Vocational Team is stepping up to help prepare consumers for the Christmas season by packaging tree stands for Sheerlund Products. Several Vocational workers go to Sheerlund Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the next several weeks to package tree stands for the holidays. Pictured are Tyler, Mark, and Ashley at Sheerlund Products. The Vocational Team has been packaging this seasonal job for many years: first in the shop and now on site. While our legal name remains Prospectus Associates, Inc., we will be using a fictitious name, ProBerco for our daily operations. Over the next several weeks we will be transitioning to ProBerco. This rebranding is more than a change of a symbol; it reaffirms our commitment to innovation and excellence. It represents our dedication to not only meeting the expectations of the men and women we serve, and our community, but reaching beyond those expectations!
