  • As the global spotlight turned to Super Bowl week, EA SPORTS was proud to take part in the National Football League (NFL)'s Inspire Change Super Bowl STEAM Celebration, helping spark curiosity and creativity among future creators, engineers, and innovators. Last week, we gave 100+ Bay Area high school students in San Francisco a special behind-the-game experience through Madden NFL. We teamed up with NFL, Players Coalition, Microsoft Copilot, and five local nonprofit organizations to showcase the power of play to unleash potential. Through hands-on activities around motion capture, game design, and feature creation, students combined their passion for sports with next-gen STEAM skills.. This work reflects our continued commitment to invest in play-based STEAM learning and sport experiences in and beyond our games to unlock opportunity where sport, technology, and creativity meet. Today, in recognition of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we’re celebrating the fifth anniversary of our industry-first accessibility patent pledge by adding eight more patents. This year’s additions cover the Grapple Assist technology in EA SPORTS UFC, advancements in expressive speech and audio generation, and a new open-sourced improvement to Fonttik — our developer tool that checks text for size, contrast, and now color-blindness accessibility. • At Electronic Arts, teams like Full Circle Studio are redefining what's possible in play — building worlds alongside our communities, not just for them. With skate., the team set out to capture what made the original series so iconic — the way the game connects player and board, the “Flick-It” control system, and the culture that’s always driven the game forward. They didn’t just listen to the community; they built with them. The result is a world that’s both familiar and entirely new — shaped by creativity and shared passion. Now, San Vansterdam is getting a spooky twist: Skate-O-Ween, the first in-game event of Season 1, is live for a limited time. Learn how Full Circle is building the next chapter of skate. 👉 https://x.ea.com/ea/1031
