The next generation of #AI and cloud computing requires massive capital investment to keep pace with the rising tide of demand. As the digital economy rapidly expands, appropriate funding for data center development is as vital as the steel and concrete needed for construction. Our latest issue of Density Digest shares more on the importance of funding for our digital economy.

Traditional data center design is reaching its limits. With nearly 70% of data center demand expected to be AI-driven by 2030, a growing gap is emerging between AI workloads and the capabilities of legacy environments. From thermal engineering to network architecture to sustainability, meeting #AI demand requires a complete rethink of data center design. Our latest blog explains why traditional designs fall short and what to expect from future-ready infrastructure: https://lnkd.in/g-rqJe4A

#AI transforms everything at the data center level, and with direct-to-chip liquid cooling here to stay — and expected to grow as a critical market segment — embracing its potential is essential for long-term success. In a piece for DatacenterDynamics, EdgeCore's Tom Traugott explains why next-generation GPUs, soaring rack power densities, and the race to scale #GenAI are forcing a top-to-bottom rethink of data center design. Last week, members of EdgeCore’s executive team – Steve Conner, Clint Heiden and William Jabjiniak attended the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN)'s Summer Social in Reno, NV. While in town, they also visited our 216MW data center campus in Storey County, which will be available for customer occupancy in late 2025. Greater Reno has become a key hub for the high-density digital infrastructure required for AI and cloud applications. Check out our progress below! 🛠️ 🏗️

EdgeCore is proud to announce the completion of our $235 million ABS financing. The securitization, comprised of green bonds, will fund future green data center development — reinforcing our commitment to sustainable development and operations practices. “Today’s announcement of a significantly oversubscribed, $235 million asset-backed securitization and establishment of a corresponding master trust is a strong first step in a series of ABS issuances which will fund the development of high-density data center campuses across our portfolio," said EdgeCore CEO Lee Kestler. As the data centers that power our connected world become increasingly visible in local communities, successful operation of these facilities requires more than technical responsibilities — you must be a good neighbor. In an article for Northern Nevada Business Weekly, EdgeCore's William Jabjiniak explains why being a good neighbor isn’t just about minimizing impact, it’s about prioritizing the community, the environment and the workforce.
