During the U.S. Army’s Project Convergence Capstone 6 exercise, Soldiers independently operated Collins’ command and control software for the first time, using it to receive targeting data, fire solutions and mission updates needed to evaluate next‑generation fires concepts alongside the DeepFires launcher. Their on-the-ground feedback helped refine the system in real time, marking an important milestone in advancing autonomous command and control and supporting the Army’s future fires architecture.

Raytheon's DeepFires autonomous launcher is designed to give the U.S. Army the flexibility to adapt as mission requirements evolve. Built with a modular architecture, DeepFires can be rapidly reconfigured for offensive and defensive operations while integrating a range of effectors, including Tomahawk and Patriot missiles, to meet future fires requirements. That adaptability was recently demonstrated during Project Convergence Capstone 6 (PCC6), where DeepFires helped U.S. Army soldiers evaluate future warfighting concepts and emerging capabilities in a realistic, combat-like environment. Developed in collaboration with Forterra, Oshkosh Defense, Corvid Technologies and Collins Aerospace, DeepFires combines expertise in autonomy, vehicle integration and advanced technologies to help shape the Army's next generation of fires.
