Chef Jason Hilgers of Northwestern University served up a remarkable achievement: taking second place and earning an American Culinary Federation gold medal at the 2025 NACUFS Culinary Challenge! 🔥 Chef Jason showed his knack for culinary creativity with his dish: pan-roasted herb chicken with onion raisin chicken liver, braised chicken leg, lentil, arugula, crispy chicken skin, and a frisee herb salad, all drizzled in a white port chicken jus. From Northwestern’s kitchens to the national stage, Chef Jason demonstrates what top-tier collegiate dining looks like. Thanks, chef!

Happy #NationalInternDay! ✨ Each year, we’re proud to welcome a new cohort of interns, offering hands-on experiences that prepare them for their careers. Whether they’re filming content, crafting meals, or analyzing data, we're proud to offer hands-on learning that sets the foundation for future success. At the heart of our internship program is a belief in growing talent from within, including welcoming former interns into full-time careers with us. We’re excited to continue that legacy with our upcoming Student Success interns this fall. Their future is bright—and we’re proud to help light the way. 💼

We're throwing it back to last semester, when Environmental Science students at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi took a field trip to see sustainability in action - right in their dining hall. The class got a behind-the-scenes tour at Islander Dining Hall, the only dining hall in the nation to be a Certified Ocean Friendly Restaurant. 🌊🌊 They learned from our team about ocean-first practices like removing unsustainable seafood from menus, conserving water, and using biodegradable utensils. Thank you to the TAMUCC dining team for protecting our oceans and to the Environmental Science class for visiting! 🌎🌎

Student athletes focus on fueling up right so they can play their best - which means not just any meal will do. 🏀🏈🏸In the Canes Zone program at the University of Miami, chefs and nutritionists work with sports teams to prepare meals high in animal and plant protein, like pork chops with jambalaya sauce and grilled corvina with broccoli and green beans, to support recovery time and energy. Student athletes can also visit the Nutrition Centers for take-home meals and grocery bags, so they can fuel up even after the dining halls close. 😍😍 These athletes are always striving to improve themselves, and we're right there with them. 🥇🥇 UM Dining
