With today’s order for 14 more of the future flagship, the Hong Kong-based carrier now has 35 777-9s on order. Let’s fly! Our team successfully completed a first flight of a 777-9 after it took off from Paine Field in Everett, Wash., today. The pilots, along with system operators and flight analysts, completed a 2-hour, 27-minute flight profile to validate the airplane’s handling and performance.
