We are significantly expanding our autonomous delivery business. This fall semester, we are rolling out our services across 25 university campuses and doubling our active fleet to 1,000 robots. As a CFO in the deep-tech and logistics space, I often see companies face a fundamental strategic divide when it comes to developing delivery robots: do you trim hardware specs and rely heavily on remote human operators (OPEX), or do you invest in advanced autonomous software to achieve true, full autonomy? At Avride, we have firmly anchored ourselves on the fully autonomous end of the spectrum. While teleoperation might seem like an easier shortcut, it creates long-term operational debt. Here is why our focus on deep autonomy is the ultimate driver of long-term financial viability and category leadership: 📉 1. Unlocking True Unit Economics In autonomous logistics, human intervention is the single largest component of operational expenditure. By systematically removing the human-in-the-loop, we eliminate the primary bottleneck to profitability. Our robots handle complex edge cases entirely on their own: they autonomously navigate busy road crossings, maneuver into tight parking spots, and self-charge at custom-engineered contactless stations. Every eliminated human touchpoint directly expands our gross margins. 📈 2. Frictionless, Non-Linear Scalability Teleoperation-heavy models create a severe operational trap: scaling your business means linearly scaling your headcount. If our robots weren't fully autonomous, rapidly doubling our fleet to 1,000 units would require a massive, costly sprint to recruit, onboard, and train a small army of remote operators. Because of our autonomy-first approach and established mass production at our factory, scaling is no longer a massive recruiting challenge; it is simply a streamlined hardware deployment exercise. Prioritizing full autonomy requires deep technical execution up front, but it yields a business model that scales frictionlessly without compounding labor overhead. Because we also build autonomous cars, we reuse a vast amount of shared core technology across platforms, reaching full robot autonomy faster and far more cost-effectively. The future of delivery isn’t just about moving things from point A to point B; it’s about doing it with intelligent, scalable unit economics.

Avride is entering its next phase of growth across U.S. college and university campuses. By September: — More than 1,000 active delivery robots — More than 25 campuses — A potential reach of over 610,000 students — Approximately 4.5 times our previous campus footprint We’ve already launched on 10 additional campuses this semester, with 11 more scheduled to be up and running by the end of September. This expansion is supported by agreements with the nation’s three largest university dining service providers, whose combined networks span approximately 1,000 colleges and universities. With a repeatable deployment model and 99% of deliveries completed without human assistance, Avride is demonstrating how autonomous delivery can be launched efficiently and scaled across a national network.

Avride has surpassed 100,000 autonomous passenger rides on Uber. Every milestone tells a bigger story. For us, this achievement reflects growing rider trust, proven autonomous technology, and years of experience operating safely in real-world conditions. The pace of progress is especially meaningful. Just a few months ago, we celebrated 60,000 rides. Reaching 100,000 underscores the accelerating adoption of autonomous transportation and the strength of our partnership with Uber. In less than two years, Nathan Falls went from servicing campus delivery robots as a Field Technician to leading technician operations for both robotaxis and delivery robots in Dallas. His biggest takeaway? Managing sidewalk robots is actually the ultimate preparation for scaling autonomous cars. "When I started working with cars, everything clicked. Students, faculty, and staff will soon be able to get their favorite meals delivered fast and autonomously by Avride robots via Grubhub. Upgrading campus dining services is all about safety, efficiency, and seamless integration — and we couldn't be prouder to partner with BGSU Dining. "This is a major improvement to a service that a lot of students and faculty really enjoyed," said Jon Zachrich, Director of Marketing, Communications, and Technology for BGSU Dining. "Avride’s business model, their design and their integration with Grubhub provide a better system for both BGSU Dining and the people who are using the robots. Avride was originally based on autonomous driving, so they were able to take a lot of that technology and create really safe robots. It’s a better technology robot, which we’re excited about." Avride is officially on the ground in Miami! In partnership with Uber Eats, our autonomous delivery robots are now hitting the streets of the Sunshine State. This marks our 6th city with Uber and our 3rd location on the US East Coast as we continue to scale our delivery footprint. Miami’s summer weather is famous for its sudden, unpredictable showers - making it the perfect environment for our technology. When the rain hits, our robots ensure residents can skip the trip to the restaurant and get their favorite meals delivered right to their doorstep.
