Please join us in congratulating the following individuals on their appointments: 🔹 Brandy Ellard, appointed as Assistant Director of Safety, Security and Emergency Management, has more than two decades of experience in public safety and emergency management and is committed to safe and prepared school environments. 🔹 Dr. Megan Lynch, named Principal of Taylor Elementary School, is a passionate educator and advocate for multilingual learners with a strong record of inclusive leadership and instructional excellence. 🔹 Jeremy Speikes, our new Assistant Director of Finance, comes with a strong track record of leadership in public sector budgeting and capital planning, including work with DCPS and George Washington University. 🔹 MaryClare Moller, appointed as Assistant Principal at Campbell Elementary School, is a literacy expert and instructional leader dedicated to student growth and family partnerships. 🔹 Jorge Velázquez, appointed as Budget Director, brings more than 20 years of experience in finance and economic development and has served APS since 2011 in roles that strengthen our financial strategy and accountability.
