We're excited to share yet another incredible Product Analyst to the team: William Zambito! Will grew up in Montreal and went to Middlebury College in Vermont, where he was an offensive lineman on the football team. Outside of work, you'll find him exploring the city, trying new food spots, catching live music, working out, hiking, and golfing. He's a big sports fan, and especially loves football and hockey (Go Habs Go!). We're glad you're here, Will! 🤝

We are hiring a Head of Sales. 500 contractors across North America run their finances on Agave. We're hiring the person who gets us to 10x that. It's our first sales leadership hire, which means owning the entire go-to-market: pipeline, process, and eventually the team. Link in the comments below to apply.

A statement from a big supplier can run 100+ invoice lines. Reconciling it by hand can eat an entire afternoon. We're excited to announce an add-on to our AP Automation product: Vendor Statement Reconciliation. Agave matches every line against your ERP and your in-flight invoices, and hands back the short list of what doesn't agree, like missing invoices, wrong amounts, wrong dates, mismatched numbers. Read more at the link in the comments. 👇

Last week we closed out our second co-op term with the University of Waterloo. We had three amazing engineers join us in San Francisco to build. Here are a few things they shipped: Leo You led a major refactor of Cost Codes to support multi-tiering in some of the toughest systems we integrate with, and drove our permissions framework for fine-grained permissions across the Agave ecosystem. Jivan Kesan took our Diagnosis Agent from an internal MVP to a product in customers' hands that meaningfully lightens the team's support load, then helped build out AIA + Agents, including an actions framework that will shape how users work with our agents going forward. Pedro Brossel shipped our Line Item Matching framework, taking on one of the hardest problems in ERP Sync, then helped stand up Expense Management from zero to one alongside customers. And they did that all in just a few short months. Huge thank you to Leo, Jivan, and Pedro — we're better for having had you here!

We're thrilled to welcome Spencer Carlson to Agave as our founding Partnerships Manager! 🚀 Spencer has spent much of his career in construction tech and partnerships across startups, and will be instrumental in scaling our partner ecosystem. A few things about him outside of work: he's a dad of two daughters, and family is his favorite way to recharge. He's always planning the next family adventure, whether that's a road trip or somewhere international. He's also an aspiring ultramarathon runner, currently training for a 50K with sights on bigger goals from there. (The Agave run club might be in trouble.) Welcome to the team, Spencer. 🤝

We're thrilled to welcome Angelica Reyfer to the team as a Customer Solutions Engineer! 🤝 Born and raised in San Francisco, she's a University of Rochester alum. Before Agave, Angelica was a Data & AI Specialist at a people intelligence and AI startup, where she worked across customer success and technical implementations, helping nonprofits put their data to better use in fundraising. Outside of work, she usually has a film camera in hand. Traditional black-and-white photography is one of her longest-running hobbies, and she develops her own film and makes prints by hand in the darkroom. Photography also doubles as a good excuse to seek out great views, hikes, and new places. Fifteen countries so far, and counting. Welcome to the team! ✨

Welcome back to the team, Daniel Jiang! 🤝 Daniel just graduated from the University of Waterloo, and he's spent his co-ops across a wide range of startups. Fun fact: Daniel first joined us as an intern in the winter, and we're so excited he's back as a full-time Software Engineer! When not building, Daniel is usually running, outside somewhere, traveling, or working his way through everything San Francisco has to offer. Welcome, Daniel! 🚀
