Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 Easter Egg

After speculations that The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update will include an easter egg to sister game Cyberpunk 2077, fans have finally found it—but where exactly can you find this mystery?

This page contains all current clues on this secret, including how to unravel the first few sections and other popular community theories.

Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3 Easter Egg Mystery

YouTuber xLetalis, a well-known member of the Witcher community, found the easter egg at the southeastern edge of Velen, at the Destroyed Bastion. This point of interest was the location of the Mastercrafted Ursine Witcher Gear, guarded by a couple of Wyverns. But since the Next-Gen Update, the surrounding three ruins each now have a switch on one of their walls.

Flipping all three switches will summon an Earth Elemental in the middle of the ruins, and defeating it will conjure up a portal on one of the nearby hills. Taking the portal gate will lead you to the top of the bastion, where you can drop down the first three floors and into the basement. The basement only has two rooms, and both are filled with Immortal Wraiths. These Wraiths, as far as we know, are unkillable no matter the method.

However, the larger of the two rooms contains two dormant crystals that you could activate with the Aard sign. Activating both crystals will summon a massive green portal on the floor, but it only leads you out of the basement, functioning as an exit against the horde of Wraiths. So where is the easter egg?

The Mystery Symbol

In that second basement room, there is an Ouroboros symbol on a stone wall behind one of the pillars. The mystery—known as FF:06:B5—is a code tied to Cyberpunk 2077's biggest secret, a secret that's yet to be solved since the game came out.

There is even a subreddit dedicated to figuring out the solution to the code, but CD Projekt Red Quest Director Paweł Sasko has confirmed that the FF:06:B5 code is still unsolved.

Years before Cyberpunk 2077 came out, Ciri mentioned in one mission that she traveled to a world where "People had metals in their heads, waged war from a distance, using things similar to megascopes." Did she travel to the world of Cyberpunk 2077? Is Night City just modern-day Novigrad?

If you have your own theories of the code and what it could mean, share them with us in the comments below!
