Rose and peony.

I did this painting a couple months ago or so. It's quite small, only about 8x10 inches, painted on wood. One of the downsides to working traditional is that so much detail gets lost when you import it to a digital format. I used gold acrylic paint for the background and I love the way it glows in the light from certain angles. It has a lot of flaws but I think it gives the painting character. Hope you like it!
