Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

There are moments when I wonder if time is less like a straight road and more like the ocean. Every wave appears to arrive, yet each one is born from countless waves that came before, while quietly carrying the shape of those yet to come.

This artwork grew from the merging of two separate visions (see the attached images) into a single landscape, much as our own lives are woven from memory, presence, and possibility. The translucent forms sweeping across the sky became, for me, the overlapping layers of consciousness itself. Yesterday is never truly gone. Tomorrow is already whispering its invitation. Both live quietly within the sacred reality of this moment.

Perhaps the soul doesn't travel through time at all. Perhaps it simply awakens to the understanding that every experience, every joy, every sorrow, and every hope belongs to one unfolding tapestry of becoming.

To stand fully in the present is not to leave the past behind or to reach anxiously for the future. It's to recognize that this moment is the place where eternity gently touches the shore of our lives.

Dream Mosaic

Dream Mosaic is more than a visual style. It is a visual language of consciousness, wonder, and the quiet relationship between the human spirit and something larger than itself.

Each piece begins as separate visions, photographs, paintings, textures, and imagined worlds. Through layering, blending, and reimagining, these fragments become something entirely new, where memory, presence, and possibility coexist within a single moment.

Drawing inspiration from the symbolic abstraction of Imants Tillers, the narrative warmth of Jo Grundy, and the expressive landscapes of artists including Jamie Heiden, Peter Doig, Renoir, Pol Ledent, Endre Penovac, Gustave Loiseau, Arthur Rackham, Doug Chinnery, and Maud Lewis, Dream Mosaic explores the space where nature, mythology, imagination, and the inner life gently converge.

The result is a contemporary vision of landscape art where texture, geometry, and layered detail create worlds that shimmer between the familiar and the fantastical. Like fragments of stained glass gathering light into a single window, each image invites quiet contemplation, becoming not simply a place to visit, but a meditation on beauty, consciousness, and the unfolding nature of consciousness itself.
