The ninth mainline entry in the long-standing Resident Evil series takes place in a post-nuclear Raccoon City. We take control of Grace Ashcroft, a protagonist far removed from others in the series. She is scared, terrified, and maybe even unqualified for the daunting task ahead of her, with her characteristics serving to elevate the scare factor to a whole new level.

Of course, we’ll also get to see Leon Kennedy come back to RPD for the first time in a long time, with RE9 set to be one of the most important story-wise in the entire series.

Speaking of the story, there are countless leaks and spoilers dropping left and right, and you’d do well to avoid anything RE-related for a while, or at least until the game actually comes out.
