Black Ops 7 Zombies has added fishing as a side activity you can complete on the Totenreich map, and to do so, you’ll need to find Olaf’s Cod Cranker. This is a fishing rod that you can obtain from specific locations within the map. Then you can set it up to fish in the water bodies surrounding all the POIs.

Let’s find out how you can find the rod in the first place.

How to get Olaf’s Cod Cranker in Black Ops 7 Zombies Totenreich

I found Olaf’s Cod Cranker at the Beacon Island POI, where the large artillery gun is located. You’ll find a couple of red barn-like houses by the artillery gun. The rod can be found in the middle of those two houses. Go near and interact with it to pick up the rod.

I also found the rod in Fishery Island. It seems that the locations vary based on your luck, so you’ll need to look carefully at all the POIs located on the map.

Once you’ve found the rod, head to a location where you can place the rod on a stand. You’ll find one near the zipline that leads you to the Lighthouse. However, you’ll find plenty of rod stands all along the map near the water bodies.

Place the rod on the stand, and wait for a few seconds. Once the rod is ready, it will turn blue. Interact with it, and you’ll recover something from the waters. Now this can be something valuable that you can use in your round. It can also recover more zombies for you to kill. The result is completely random.

How to solve the fish easter egg in Totenreich

Incidentally, there’s a fish easter egg you can solve on the side of the Totenreich map. You’ll find the location on Beacon Island by the Arsenal upgrade machine. Refer to the image above to find the exact location.

You’ll find a single fish inside a small bucket on the wall. Interact with it to add the item to your inventory. Incidentally, it’s not required for you to complete the Wonder Weapon easter egg, which will get you the Jotunn Star.
