I love this credit card as it not only rewards you for shopping online at Amazon but also in shops, retailers etc etc elsewhere.
It rewards you with points that accumulate for every purchase in varying percentages of the total spent and this can then be converted into Amazon gift vouchers.
Considering I use Amazon a lot for online shopping due to the fact that their customer services are always really good at sorting any issues and yes they might not be the cheapest to buy from but you do get swift action from chat representatives especially if the product purchased is sold and delivered solely by Amazon and there is a huge range of products to choose from with free delivery often on purchases over the threshold of £35.
Some sellers offer free delivery regardless and of course being a prime member will get you unlimited free next day delivery in most cases.
The Barclaycard app is easy to use to check balances and see your accumulated points and it's easy to convert the points into Amazon gift vouchers.
I also love the design of the credit card itself in its sleek black format with the Amazon logo on the front.
Applying was easy and straightforward and I got a nice credit limit too. Everything was smooth and the appropriate security protocols were adhered to with the pin code arriving a few days before the card itself.
I'd highly recommend this credit card for anyone who uses credit cards a lot as before you know it you'll have plenty of points to convert to gift vouchers which is done in whole increments such as £5, £10, £15 etc etc
(if you had 531 points for example you use 500 of those for a fiver and the other 31 are saved for future accumulations)
Shopping on Amazon gets you a better percentage of points as you'd expect with other purchases in stores etc getting you slightly less but of course these percentages can be changed at any point.
Overall it's a great credit card, one of the better one's I've used over time and the point accumulations are pretty generous in all honesty.

Easy application with instant decision i didn't need to answer any phone calls or send any proof of earnings like what you need to do with other credit cards.

I could use it with amazon straight away before the physical card arrived a few days later.

I got a £40 amazon voucher applied straight away as well. Also as I do a lot of shopping on amazon so it made sence to get a card that rewards you with amazon vouchers.

I downloaded the app and it was an easy set up especially if you have a passport which your phone scans the chip to confirm your identity.

The card can be used anywhere and you still get points towards amazon vouchers but you get extra points when shopping with amazon.

I have other credit cards with cash back features but tend to use my amazon one more as my idea is to save up the vouchers over the course of the year and then use the amazon vouchers at Christmas time.

I would recommend it and actually wish I had got it sooner and not sure if it varies from person to person but they started me of with a £3,000 credit limit which was ideal for what I needed it for.

Mostly been a good experience, got the card number a week or so before getting the card (royal mail not great in our area) so was able to start spending haha. The only two downsides so far - I've not been able to set up an additional card holder (think it's being worked on). The other small teething issue was working out when the promo bonus would apply for and had to dig through a faqs to find when the Amazon bonus would be applied for promo events (e.g. black Friday) id done most of my shopping during the event, but before the Barclaycard promo started - so make sure you read up before spending during these and don't just assume like I did. On the positive side, I've redeemed one gift card already, that process was easy and worked seemlessly from the Barclays app, applying the gift card in my Amazon account.

The has made my purchase easy and more secure and also I have started using Amazon more which I find more easy and time saving shoping. I am shoping nice deals, don't have to worry about the time of order and also collection.
All in all the Amazon Barclays Card have made my shoping more smooth and I don't have to worry about funds and the repayments are also easy. It's good and very helpful to have this card.

Payments show up almost straight after delivery. It takes a little longer for refunds to show and you can choose to claim the money back into your account instantly.
I got the first 5/6 months interest free on purchases, so I could pay it off gradually (but I don't like doing that) and a £40 Amazon gift card when I first joined. Signing up this way also meant getting 1% cashback for Amazon with the occasional promotion for purchases on the card.
Be mindful when you sign up this becomes your default payment.
I personally do not like using credit cards due to the APR.
I would love a card that because they're linked to you bank and know you have a salary they do not add on APR as long as each time you pay it off within a certain time limit say 12 months for larger purchases. Takes away the panic and pressure.
What I do like about this card is there within those first free months is no fixed amount to pay so you can pay off the whole amount on one go or however much in installments and when you want to which makes it ease to manage your money better especially in months when you are strained.
I'm not sure why credit cards give you access to money ×3s your salary which could put you in literal endless debt.
Be mindful with your money and how and when you spend it. Credit cards are not free loans, you will owe it back and extra and have to really consider if items are worth purchasing this way.
Maybe a good way to pay for a holiday but not sure about every day to day.
