I updated a code snippet on my site. I have deactivated it and reactivated it. The previous version of the code snippet continues to run. I think I have cleared all the caches that I can think of. It isn’t all the snippets, just one that I have found. Please help!

    Hello @michelekleinhomer!

Thank you for reaching us, I’m sorry to hear that the snippet update isn’t behaving as expected.

This behavior is usually related to caching. Even though you’ve already cleared caches, there are a few additional things worth checking:

    • Please confirm that you are running the most recent version of the plugin. If not, updating may resolve the issue.
    • If this started after a recent update, you might also try temporarily rolling back to a previous plugin version to see if the behavior changes.
    • Inside Settings → Debug, there is a “Reset Cache” button. Please try clicking that, then reload your site and test the snippet again.
    • Double-check that there isn’t a duplicate copy of the same snippet (or similar code) saved elsewhere, such as in another snippet, your theme’s functions.php, or a custom plugin.
    • If the snippet is set to “Run everywhere,” try switching it to manual execution, saving, and then switching it back.

If the issue persists, could you let us know which plugin version you’re currently using, as well as whether any server-side caching (such as hosting or CDN caching) is enabled?

Let us know if this helps, or if the issue is still occurring — we’re here to help.
