I have spent days trying to figure out what’s wrong, and every time I fix it or it fixes itself, the issue reappears again.

I am having major differentiation in load time (anywhere between 3 seconds to a couple minutes). When I look at the processes, it seems that the website is trying to pull “ai1ev” cached stylesheet. It can’t find the stylesheet — it doesn’t exist and so it pulls a 404 Not Found, but the lag time of the website load is due to it attempting to find this non-existent cached stylesheet. Whenever I have found a temporary fix, the website bounces up to a 3 – 10 second load time.

It is looking for: ae3ed441_ai1ec_parsed_css.css?ver=2.5.13, currently.

I have tried several things to fix the issue, none have been permanent fixes:
    -deactivated w3 total cache
-messed with the time.ly advanced cache settings
-renamed an old time.ly cache file the name it was searching for (it proceed within an hour to look for a new non-existent cached stylesheet, new name)

At the same time, the events calendar keeps dropping its css styling. When you go to the calendar page, the events calendar still operates, but the categories are a long list, and the “events” just look like posts with pictures and texts. This problem keeps randomly fixing itself. Since it’s both having to do with css styling — I assume the problems are linked. I have tried resetting the plugin’s theme options, sometimes it fixes it, sometimes it doesn’t — problem being that the issue reappears.

I updated the Time.ly plugin about a week ago, but I do not think the issue is arising from that. I had slow lagtimes prior to the upgrade.

  • Hi,

Can you please provide a link to your calendar page.

I am having the same issue at winterpark.org. There is a widget in the sidebar on most pages including the homepage and it is behaving exactly as jlobasso describes.

    kerncountylibrary.org/events
–> to see the dropping of the styling.

Every page of the website is having the “missing” cache file that’s slowing it down.

Is there any information on how to fix this issue?

I have been forced to temporarily switch to another calendar plugin, because this issue has persisted for more than two weeks. I would appreciate a fix as soon as possible.
