Did Doctor Who use the bi-generation gimmick again too quickly?

Bi-generation in Doctor Who was supposed to be very rare, and the Doctor believed it was a myth until it happened in "The Giggle." However, the Rani bi-generated in "The Interstellar Song Contest." The show implied that this was because the Time Lords were sterilized, but it was unclear exactly when this happened. I liked the idea of bi-generation, and while the new Rani was great, I felt that it undermined Anita Dobson's two-season portrayal of the character, and Mrs. Flood essentially became a goofy sidekick to her counterpart after.

Liam Neeson's Naked Gun looks like one of the best comedy reboots yet.

I've always found comedies to be one of the most remade and rebooted genres of cinema, falling just behind horror, and as is the case with all remakes, it's a very hit-or-miss past of efforts. That being said, while I was already excited after the first teaser, the proper full trailer for Liam Neeson's The Naked Gun reboot/revival looks like it will be one of the genre's best yet. It looks like it's keeping its tongue planted firmly in its cheek, even as Neeson's Frank Drebin Jr. risks slipping back into Taken's Bryan Mills, and seems to have a great mix of classic gags and new jokes to make for a fun modern update on the series.

What was the greenlit DC project James Gunn confirmed was just killed?

In a surprising turn of events, James Gunn has revealed that a previously greenlit DC project has just been killed, citing it as being an issue with the script, even though everyone was excited about the project. With no explicit confirmation of what it was, there are a number of projects it could be, and my bet is on Sgt. Rock. He did recently assure that pre-production on Clayface is going great, and, given the former encountered numerous hurdles with different castings and filming reschedules, I get the feeling he decided to pull the plug and start from scratch to make it work later down the line.

Does RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars show way too much favoritism towards certain queens?

I'm annoyed, but not surprised, at RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10. The favoritism towards queens like Jorgeous is expected, but it's frustrating me that queens like her and Ginger Minj, who have competed on the show more than once, are getting wins and praise for lackluster performances in challenges. The judging hasn't been great lately, and while these queens aren't doing terribly, I know that many viewers cannot understand the logic behind some of the comments and wins, especially when others have done better.
