Many people plunge themselves into productivity, busyness, and work to avoid how they feel deep inside. If they'd look inside, they'd find: - Insecurities - Traumas - Regrets - Guilt - Pain - Hurt No wonder, they avoid it.

Fear will never leave. It's an essential part of your life It even protects you from danger. Learn to live with fear, befriend it, and make it part of your self instead of trying to separate it from yourself. Then grow together as partners.
Most journalism and news coverage is more interested in playing the "gotcha" game, than getting closer to truth or genuine understanding.
When you're overwhelmed, narrow your focus on what's essential. Once you feel bored, broaden your focus. If you keep this balance, you'll be curiously engaged with the world without being overwhelmed.
Yes, success costs you a lot. But inaction costs you more: - Fear - Regrets - Insecurities - Overwhelm - Victim-Mindset - Growing problems - Little to no progress Is your passivity still worth it?

It's ok to think about quitting. It's ok to struggle at first. It's ok to fail sometimes. It's ok to do it badly. It's ok to take it slow. It's ok to fail some. It's not ok to never try.

To alleviate your anxiety for good, you need to investigate it: Understand where it's coming from, why you're anxious, and why your attempts to alleviate it in the past failed. Then you'll know what could help and can try that. The solution to problems lies in the problems.

Feelings and emotions were largely off the table for me for 2 decades. Since last year, I'm reestablishing a connection to them and it's like I've gained access to another dimension of life. My life is better in every way. Embrace your feelings.

Reading many books at the same time seems counterintuitive but is one of the main reasons I read so much. I'd also add to have many books you are interested in bought but unread. That way you can easily switch to one you like more when you need something new to read.

It took untold generations, sacrifice, and effort to make your life possible. A little gratitude might be in order for that. It's a truly astounding feat.

I used to be pretty stingy with money. Then I realized how valuable shared experiences are that cost some money. Now, I use money to make these experiences possible and they've been invaluable. From stingy to mindful spending.

Healing is a long journey. And who you choose to heal with is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make. Nothing is more detrimental than a bunch of people in your life who don't want you to succeed. Be careful who you invite into your life.

Honesty has a lot of potential but can backfire, too. Use it wisely and tactically when necessary or opportune. Just throwing "tough truths" around will backfire and turn people against you. But skillfully wielded honesty is a mighty weapon.

Many problems of modern people come from non-natural lifestyles and the problems they bring. As soon, as you get them closer to what we evolved to do, they begin to feel better.

I used to be the one dealing with unsolicited "harsh truths." Then I realized, how hurtful, disrespectful, and ineffective my approach was. I've grown past that and found much more success, happiness, and gratitude in skillfully using truth while being compassionate.

To achieve anything you need clarity. Here's how I gain clarity: - regular self-reflection to understand myself - journaling to understand my problems - learning new methods & skill to solve them Combine all three and everything will be much clearer.

I've found one of the best ways to let your brain process things is to have 30-60 minutes without stimulation. A walk in nature, some quiet time at home, or a bit of mindfulness and meditation. This gives your brain some time to rest and reset.

The notion of a "perfect soulmate" that you "just connect with" and then create the perfect relationship with is so toxic! I wonder how many relationships that had genuinely good outlooks crumbled to the unrealistic expectations that the myth of a "soulmate" created.
Taking full responsibility for your life is truly freeing. No one can improve your life for you. They can surely help you here and there, give you their opinion and feedback but they can't do the work for you. You have to change your life. There's no one else who can.

I used to constantly think about the future instead of being in the present. Recently, I began to remind myself of this simple fact: "This is life, now." For some reason, this simple reminder quickly brings me back to the present and makes me smile regularly.

Feeling the need to have an opinion on everything is a disease of our modern lives. Learning to be comfortable with not knowing and nuance is a forgotten skill to unlock peace of mind.

Your attitude is the valve that regulates your energy. Keep it positive, uplifting, and creative to have more energy. Keep it entitled, victimized, and negative to lose energy. Regularly check if you're still in control of the valve.

I think that confidence comes from experiences that show you can do hard things successfully. Thus, it has little to do with comparison but everything with how you live your life.
You don't have to become a purist to get the most out of life. In fact, being a purist about almost anything is the only guarantee to never get all you can out of life. Cut yourself some slack. You're human.
Stop depending on others. Create yourself: - Learn - Experiment - Create a Vision - Pursue it - Grow The only truly reliable path is your own.
