Fflecsi Service

Fflecsi is Transport for Wales new bus service, run in partnership with local bus operators that allows people to request a bus to pick them up near home, work or shops. Newport Bus has been running the Fflecsi scheme in the St Julians, Brynglas and Rogerstone areas of Newport since Monday 18th May 2020.

Fflecsi services are in addition to the scheduled bus services, adding more flexibility of transport for the residents. 

How does it work? 

Download the Fflecsi app or call - Set up your account and choose your pick-up and drop-off points. Or call the Fflecsi call centre on 0300 234 0300 (Mon-Sat 7 am - 8 pm and Sunday 9 am - 5 pm)

Book your trip - Book your trip. You will receive an SMS confirmation and live updates on your journey

Travel - Head to your pick-up point in plenty of time and be ready to start your journey

Once a fflecsi passenger is booked on a service, Newport Bus guarantee that the passenger will have a seat and enough space to respect social distancing guidelines. 

The fflecsi service in Newport operates between 07:30 and 18:30, Monday to Saturday.
