The #WBSPens are supporting #hockeyfightscancer and its mission to help in the fight against this deadly disease.

Through American Cancer Society (ACS), Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) and Movember, donations to Hockey Fights Cancer support people affected by cancer, their families and caregivers in several ways, including:

Transportation - Getting to and from appointments can be a source of stress for many patients with cancer. To help relieve this burden, donations through Hockey Fights Cancer from the 2018-2019 season help ACS and CCS provide over 64,000 rides to treatment for patients, free of charge.

🎁🎂Happy Birthday🎂🎁 to #WBSPens forward Chase Berger, who turns 26 years old today.

Berger spent four seasons suiting up for Penn State Men's Hockey (2015-19) before turning pro with the Pens.

The St. Louis native has recorded 12 points (2+10) in 59 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton over parts of two seasons.

Hey #wbspens fans! You may remember that earlier this year we introduced you to Wilma, a stray cat we found living under the box truck behind our practice facility. We took the little friend to get a checkup and found out she was pregnant. After a little moving around, the good people at @rescuewarriorcatrescue took her into their care.

A short time later Wilma gave birth. Her first baby unfortunately was stillborn, but little Sidney, a white and tan kitten, was born.

A few days later, a newborn kitten was dropped off with the @rescuewarriorcatrescue , in need of care after being found all alone. WhenWilma heard her cries, she immediately took interest and began nursing the new addition, who was named Eve.

Now, Wilma, Sidney and Eve are all doing well, and have recently been made available for adoption. We’re doing our part to try to find them their furever homes.

If you have the space in your house and heart to help out, please drop the @rescuewarriorcatrescue a note. Let’s find these little friends the loving families they deserve!!!
