    We agree, which is why we're working with UP on track improvements in Brooklyn Yard that will reduce the time trains block that crossing. They'll finish by July. We're also working with to install a foot and bike bridge over the tracks. That should be up mid-2020.

    I should emphasize that this is not just an inconvenience to motorists! Shutting down the bus line meant I had to take Lyft a long way around. No good options for cyclists either, though I saw a few of them dangerously lifted their bikes over car couplings.
