What can I bring on board?
We want everyone’s ride to be as safe and comfortable as possible. Here’s what you can and can’t bring on board TriMet buses and trains.
Wheeled carts/totes
Both two-wheel and four-wheel shopping carts are allowed on board, but must be within these maximum dimensions: 18-by-18 inches and 30 inches high (excluding wheels and handles).
Strollers
We recommend using a folding “umbrella” style stroller. Large and double-wide strollers are not practical for use on TriMet. Strollers must be folded on a bus or high-floor MAX train (with stairs at the door), and must not block the aisle, stairs or doorway. More
Luggage/bags/backpacks/packages
You are welcome to bring bags and packages with you, but make sure they don't block the aisle, stairs or doorway.
Mobility devices
The power lifts on buses can hold wheelchairs and scooters up to 30 inches wide and 48 inches long, weighing up to 600 pounds when occupied.
Segways
You can bring a Segway on board only when used as a mobility device due to a disability. (It must be turned off when boarding, riding and exiting the vehicle.)
Bikes
Only single-seat two-wheeled bikes, folding bikes, and recumbents the size of a standard bike are allowed. Folding bikes are allowed inside buses. More
Food/drinks
Eating is not allowed on TriMet, but you can bring food and drinks on board in closed containers.
Pets
Unless it’s a service animal, your pet must be kept in a carrier.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
