Jerusalem Venture Partners Campus (walkable or a quick Gett from the hotels)
From autonomous cars to biotech to edtech to clean energy, Israel boasts some of the most innovative startups in the world. The country’s largest venture capital firm, Jerusalem Venture Partners, brings the top entrepreneurs in each of these areas to its beautiful Jerusalem campus for a day to work with Under 30 participants to harness their cutting-edge technologies for the betterment of society. After an inspirational overview and lunch, we’ll showcase a new, breakthrough, startup-driven technology for each sector– groups will then work on ways to apply that technology to make a larger societal impact, with an eye on those less fortunate. We’ll present our breakthroughs on-stage later in the day at the Under 30 Summit at the Tower of David.
-
Track 2: Palestinian Entrepreneurship (Our bus to Rawabi departs at 10:00)
Palestinian entrepreneurs are creating a path towards prosperity and co-existence, and Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees will accelerate that. We’ll travel by bus to the new Palestinian city of Rawabi, which has been designed as a startup capital. There, we’ll hear from Palestinian entrepreneurs, showcase a few of the Summit’s more experienced founders, and then break into groups of common interests to establish relationships–whether mentorships or partnerships or possible investment–that can accelerate this force for good.
-
Track 3: Uncovering The Ancient Past: A New Archeological Dig (Our bus to the dig departs at 10:30)
Khirbet El Rai is a newly discovered archaeological site, which dates back roughly 3,000 years to the Kingdom of Judah. It holds the keys to some of the biggest questions of civilization–specifically, the historical and geographical accuracy of the Biblical record. This location may provide insights and answers about the formation of the Kingdom of Judah. Over lunch, two renowned archeologists will lay out the opportunity that lies underneath us. We’ll then divide into groups and excavate–supervisors will immediately explain the relevancy of whatever we dig up.

The Summit will end with more inspiration–and reflection. We’ll proceed before dawn to Masada, the legendary desert fortress, for a quick hike along along the Roman pathways, all the way to the top. At Masada, we’ll watch the sun rise over the Dead Sea, as the King David Peace Drummers create an enormous drum circle–and a moment you’ll never forget.
