On September 2, 2012, Trolley lines and schedules will change significantly. Most bus routes will also have schedule changes, as listed below. Additionally, service will be added to many bus routes. New timetables for all bus routes with changes will be the color blue.

Trolley Service Changes

New Connections

On September 2, the new Trolley network will make the 12th & Imperial and the Santa Fe Depot/America Plaza transit centers major new transfer points for Trolley riders.

Riders on the Blue and Orange lines who want to travel beyond downtown should transfer to the Green Line at 12th & Imperial.

At Santa Fe Depot, Green Line riders going to stations on C Street or Park Boulevard should transfer to the Orange Line, which leave from the same platform.

At America Plaza, the Blue Line will arrive and depart on the track closest to Kettner Boulevard; the Orange Line will arrive and depart in both directions from the track closest to the office building.

Bus Service Changes

Most MTS bus routes will have major schedule changes on some or all days. Changes may include earlier or later arrivals at your stop. Please refer to a new timetable in advance of September 2nd to ensure that you are prepared. New timetables are the color blue and will be available:

• On your bus approximately one week in advance (supplies may be limited)
• Via download from links on this page
• At The Transit Store on Broadway at 1st Avenue in Downtown San Diego
• Via mail upon request (call 619-233-3004)

Please be sure to pick up a new timetable for the routes with changes. The timetables and maps are provided belowin PDF format. To read these files, you must have a PDF viewer installed on your system. You may use the free PDF viewer Adobe Acrobat Reader. Some timetable PDF files are large files. We recommend that you right-click the link for the timetable and select "Save As..." and save the file to your computer before opening the file.
