New clips have been released for Jonathan Glazer‘s sci-fi film Under the Skin and Richard Ayoade‘s comic thriller The Double. Under the Skin is about an alien (Scarlett Johansson) who comes to Earth and seduces hapless men into an abyss, but then she starts empathizing with them and doubting her purpose. The clip is just Johansson’s character driving, but it does a good job expressing the mood and highlighting the unbearable, squeaky strings that comprise most of the score. Click here for my review from TIFF.
As for The Double, Jesse Eisenberg stars as Simon James, a shy office drone whose life is turned upside down when he meets a more confident, physically identical version of himself, James Simon. The clip highlights not only the comedy, but also provides one of the film’s many example of Simon James’ weak personality: he doesn’t have enough ID and it’s not even worth spelling out his last name. I can’t wait to see this movie again. Hit the jump to check out the clips. Under the Skin opens April 4th, and The Double opens May 9th.

If you liked our recap of the first ten minutes of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but would prefer to watch it for yourself, you’re in luck! Those very same minutes are now available for you to check out. If this brief look is any indication, then we’re in for quite the treat when the full film hits theaters. There’s a great sense of character, tone, humor, and action all packed into the first ten minutes alone. It looks like early reactions to the film might be right on the mark.
The film stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Anthony Mackie, Georges St-Pierre, Frank Grillo, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, Maximiliano Hernández, Robert Redford, and Samuel L. Jackson. Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens in 3D on April 4th. Hit the jump to watch already!

Open Road Films has released an extended behind-the-scenes look at director David Ayer’s (End of Watch) upcoming actioner Sabotage. The film is a riff on the Agatha Christie novel And Then There Were None, as it revolves around a DEA task force that starts to get picked off one-by-one after they heist a drug cartel safe house. The ensemble cast is led by Arnold Scharzenegger, with Sam Worthington, Mireille Enos, and Joe Manganiello providing sufficient support. This b-roll comprises 15 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage from the film, giving us a look at what goes into making an R-rated action film of this scale.
Hit the jump to watch the footage. The film also stars Olivia Williams, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Max Martini, Josh Holloway, and Kevin Vance. Sabotage opens March 28th.

Sony has been releasing clips from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and they’re highly encouraging. In the upcoming sequel, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds himself surrounded by antagonistic forces as Electro (Jamie Foxx) emerges, Parker’s old friend Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) returns to New York City, and everyone seems to have a connection to the shady goings-on at Oscorp. Another clip has hit today, and it’s got a great mix of action and comedy as Spidey tries to wrangle some loose plutonium as the Rhino (Paul Giamatti) rampages through the streets.
Hit the jump to check out the clip. The film also stars The film also stars Emma Stone, Felicity Jones, Chris Cooper, B.J. Novak, Colm Feore, and Sally Field. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens in 3D on May 2nd.

The Muppets return to the big screen later this month in the caper Muppets Most Wanted, and Disney has provided us with 20 minutes of fantastic behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the film. Included in the video are great on set moments, the cast and Muppets recording some of the songs, some of the big stars that cameo in the film, Bret McKenzie singing one the songs, and so much more. I promise if you’re a fan of The Muppets, you’re going to love the video. Saying that, if you’re trying to stay spoiler free, you might want to wait to watch this as some of the jokes/cameos will get spoiled.
Directed by James Bobin, the follow-up finds the gang on a successful tour in Europe when Kermit gets mistaken for his jewel-heisting doppelganger, Constantine, and thrown in jail. Clips from two highly anticipated superhero sequels have been released online. First up, a new clip from Captain America: The Winter Soldier features neither Captain America nor the Winter Soldier, as we instead see a discussion between Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Robert Redford’s character, the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. If you’re itching to see the titular duo, though, check out yesterday’s clip. Early reactions to the film have been overwhelmingly positive, and I’m eager to see how Redford fits into the overall Marvel universe. You’ll also want to stick around after the credits to see a scene directed by Joss Whedon. Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens April 4th.
Additionally, two new clips from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have been released, just a day after the debut clip came online. These two new clips feature, alternately, a scene between Peter (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen (Emma Stone), and a scene between Peter and Harry (Dane DeHaan). They’re both quite character-centric, which is promising. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens May 2nd.

While there’s been a lot of footage released for Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, today features the debut of the film’s first official clip. Even as Webb recently addressed the concern of too many villains in this sequel, it wouldn’t be much of a movie without a bad guy. Luckily, we get a look at the main one in this new clip, as Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) attempts to talk down Max Dillon/Electro (Jamie Foxx) before the situation gets drastically out of hand.
The film also stars Emma Stone, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Chris Cooper, B.J. Novak, Colm Feore, and Sally Field. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens in 3D on May 2nd. Hit the jump to watch the first clip.

The first, overwhelmingly positive reactions to Marvel’s sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier arrived last night, and now Disney is taking advantage of that buzz by releasing the first clip from the pic online. Described as a “political thriller” and directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film finds Captain America (Chris Evans) joining forces with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and the Falcon (Anthony Mackie) to expose a conspiracy, fight off professional assassins, and battle a new enemy, the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). In this debut clip, we see Cap chasing down the titular baddie through an office building. It shows off the kind of smaller-scale action that the thriller genre offers, and at one point I half-expected Evans to shout “Parkour!”
Hit the jump to watch the clip. The film also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford, Georges St-Pierre, Frank Grillo, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, and Maximiliano Hernández. Captain America: The Winter Soldier will open in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.

The first clip for director Darren Aronofsky’s Biblical epic Noah has landed online. The film is Aronofsky’s take on the Great Flood story from the Bible, with Russell Crowe taking on the titular role. In this debut clip, we see Crowe’s Noah explaining his God-given task to his family, specifically discussing how they need to round up animals for the ark. Though Aronofsky had a bit of a push-and-pull with Paramount over the cut of the film, we know that the cut being released in theaters will indeed be Aronofsky’s director’s cut, and I’m excited to see what his take on the classic story entails.
Hit the jump to watch the clip, and if you missed any of Matt’s set visit coverage be sure to check out his full set visit report and interview with Crowe. The film also stars Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman, and Anthony Hopkins. Noah opens in theaters on March 28th.

There’s no trailer for writer-director-star Jon Favreau’s comedy Chef just yet, but the first clip is now available. The film is primed to make its premiere at SXSW. In fact, Favreau and co-star Robert Downey Jr. recently appeared in a video unveiling posters specially designed with the festival in mind. Chef centers on a chef who loses his job and opens a food truck with his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara), his friend (John Leguizamo), and his son (Emjay Anthony) in order to recapture his artistic promise. Scarlett Johansson also stars.
Hit the jump to watch the clip. Chef opens in theaters starting May 9th.

You can’t sell a big superhero movie these days without product integration or cross-promotion, and thanks to Sony’s team-up with Kellogg’s, three new promo clips from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have landed online. The clips show off some meaty bits of new footage (including Oscorp and Norman Osborn), but they’re mostly notable because they feature narration from comic book legend Stan Lee, adding a retro, heroic feel to the footage. In the Marc Webb-directed sequel, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds himself surrounded by antagonistic forces as Electro (Jamie Foxx) emerges, Parker’s old friend Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) returns to New York City, and everyone seems to have a connection to the shady goings-on at Oscorp.
Hit the jump to watch the three promo clips, one of which is slightly spoilery. The film also stars Emma Stone, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Chris Cooper, B.J. Novak, Colm Feore, and Sally Field. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens in 3D on May 2nd.

Available today on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital download is director Francis Lawrence’s sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. While some were wary about a new director taking over the insanely popular franchise from Gary Ross, Lawrence turned in a pleasantly surprising and thrilling feature that stood head and shoulders above most of the big studio tentpoles released last year. In anticipation of the film’s home video release, we here at Collider are happy to debut an exclusive clip from the bounty of bonus features included on the Blu-ray. This particular clip focuses on how the Catching Fire team turned a parking garage into the impressive training compound in the film. The sequel stars Jennifer Lawrence, Donald Sutherland, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Jena Malone, Sam Claflin, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stanley Tucci, Jeffrey Wright, and Amanda Plummer.

Though American Hustle failed to land a single win out of its 10 nominations at the Oscars last weekend, the film remains a hit with audiences with a worldwide box office total of $248.2 million. Director David O. Russell’s latest feature hits Blu-ray and DVD in a couple of weeks, and in anticipation of the home video release a deleted scene from the pic has been released online. It’s no secret that Russell has a very particular way of working that involves plenty of improvisation and the creation of new scenes on the fly, and that energy is prevalent in this deleted scenes which finds the core characters played by Jeremy Renner, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, and Christian Bale giving a tour of New Jersey to “the Sheikh”, played by Michael Peña. All does not go as planned, resulting in Renner’s character losing his cool in front of some New Jersey residents.
Hit the jump to watch the new deleted scene. It’s unclear exactly how many deleted scenes will be included on the Blu-ray/DVD, but there’s likely plenty of footage that didn’t make the finished film. American Hustle will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on March 18th. Click here to pre-order.

We’ll be posting a ton of content from our set visit to Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier later today, but for now, you can check out a three-minute scene from the sequel before it hits theaters next month. This clip features lots of action from Cap himself (Chris Evans), alongside Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Crossbones (Frank Grillo), as they attempt to apprehend Batroc the Leaper (Georges St-Pierre). It’s a great look at the action, humor, and tone of the film, and I just can’t wait to see the rest of it!
Also starring Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, and Maximiliano Hernández, Captain America: The Winter Soldier will open in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on April 4th. Hit the jump to check out the scene.
