CPSU

The CPSU is:

  • The think-tank for the Commonwealth of 53 countries.
  • Fulfiling its mission through ongoing programmes of externally funded research projects, a Minsterial Policy Brief Series, a wide range of events and an extensive body of research, seminars, worshops and publications.
  • Head Office in London, with projects in numerous Commonwealth countries.
  • Aims to be present throughout the Commonwealth, working wherever possible with people and agencies in local communities.
  • Working to inform and improve policy and decision making across the Commowealth.

The Commonwealth Policy Studies Unit operates on a growing number of projects across a wide range of areas, in numerous Commonwealth countries. These projects broadly fit into five main programme areas.

The CPSU currently has projects in Africa, Asia, Pacific and the Carribbbean as part of its project on Fisheries in partnership with the Commonwealth Foundation and CHEC. As part of other projects, the CPSU also has projects in Botswana, Belize, Cameroon, India, Trinidad & Tobago, Rwanda and Madagascar.
