Another year has come and gone. In many ways, 2007 was like years previous. A ton of major label music was released and a ton of independent music came out to buffer the mainstream blitz. And of course there was a plethora of digital download material to wade through, as well. All in all, despite the continued lamentations of the record industry that sales are down, there was actually too much music to completely consume come year's end. Maybe albums aren't selling like they used to, but artists are no less prolific, tossing out tunes faster than gerbils procreate.


Sifting through a year's worth of tunes is a daunting enough task by itself. Coming up with the cr�me de la cr�me, the best of the bunch, well that's no spring picnic either. Basically we rifled through our cabinets, tossed discs back into the player to re-listen to, strained our collective memory banks to remember releases from the early part of the year and in the end came up with our "Best of 2007" list.
