The Montclair Recreation Department’s Flag Football program is in desperate need of volunteer coaches for three teams. Men and women are asked to volunteer to coach. Expertise in the game in not required.

The Montclair Flag Football program is a  rewarding and fun instructional series has been in place for decades. It offers boys and girls ages 6-9 a unique opportunity to learn and play in a fun, non-competitive environment. Children learn quality Football skills, good sportsmanship, how to work as a team and are afforded an opportunity to interact with new friends in the community.

The program runs from September through November. Games are held during the week Monday-Friday at 6:00 p.m. Garland Thornton, Director of the program, will be happy to guide and support you at any time.
