Why it rocked: Here's one Namco can be proud of. The third in the venerable Ace Combat series, based on the arcade-style air combat shooter called Air Combat, AC3 is a stripped down, sleek, fast-action shooter that may not have all of the goodies that the Japanese version had, but it still had all of the great gaming goodness we needed to give it this award.
