Hello, my name is Viktor. I’m an author, artist, and gamer, among other things. I’m currently working on a story called “Sanctum” that I hope to publish some day and talk about on this blog a bit. Sanctum is a story about a young scientist named Jayce who is stuck in a house with an abusive, hyper-religious father, and a demon named Ambrose, who lives on Earth, constantly in fear of being found out, forced to hide his true nature. They meet in Jayce’s room on a freezing winter night, when Ambrose sneaks in to warm up, and become friends over talks of humans and demons, their similarities and differences, their lives, history, and cultures. And then Jayce gets sick and is given a grim prognosis, spurring them to seek out an ancient demon relic in order to save his life. Only problem? They’ll have to open a demon gate and search the Hells in order to find it, and Jayce may not be well enough or have enough time. Oh, and the impending demon invasion that seeks to take advantage of the newly opened gate. That, too.
