Oh man, what if after Benedict convinces Sophie to come with him to his apartment when she has a panic attack seeing Araminta again, we get to see them walk over there in the show??? What if Sophie, being the socially conscious professional she is, insists Benedict, the gentleman, keep a respectable distance ahead of the maid, even while she is falling apart? And what if we see Benedict, in front of her, wanting nothing more than to put Sophie in his pocket and make sure she is alright and cared for, but his only option is keep up the facade to shield her from scrutiny and scandal? What if we get to see season 4 Benedict through gritted teeth dying inside, struggling to greet other members of the ton on their path as per usual? Wouldn't it be so funny if he has on like this most half-assed, plastered on polite smirk pretending he's acknowleging the words from some rando who goes on and on, while his eyes go all wide and furious and the rest of his body is near convulsion in need to check on and be near Sophie, sensing that she's shaking like a leaf? While she's still behind him barely composed with her head down, trying her best not to cry? Wouldn't it make a hilarious Orpheus/Eurydice-coded Benophie moment hahahaha 🤣😂😭😭😭
