It is our pleasure to support Maggies Lanarkshire at their event last week. 🎉Congratulations on the fantastic amount raised!
We are absolutely delighted to share that Maggie's at the Moulsdale raised almost £300,000 for Maggie's Lanarkshire. This incredible achievement simply would not have been possible without the generosity, kindness and support of so many people coming together to make a difference for those affected by cancer. A huge thank you to our event partner, The Moulsdale Foundation for allowing us to host such a fantastic event and for their unwavering support throughout. The evening was truly something special. To our wonderful Maggie's at the Moulsdale Committee, thank you for your dedication, hard work and passion in bringing this event to life. To our amazing volunteers, thank you for giving your time, and bringing so much energy and enthusiasm. We couldn't have done it without you. We are also incredibly grateful to our inspiring Maggie's Moment speakers, Cancer Support Specialist - Susan and the lovely Steven, for sharing his personal experiences. Their heartfelt stories were a powerful reminder of why Maggie's support is needed and the difference it makes every day. A very special thank you to our incredible host, Alex Fleming, who helped make the evening truly memorable. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to John Watson, five-time Formula One Grand Prix winner, for an engaging and fascinating Q&A session, and to internationally acclaimed percussionist Colin Currie for his outstanding performances. Both added something truly special to the evening. Finally, our sincere thanks to our sponsors and supporters: - Chris Hartness, Honorary Patron - Alsta - Barry Wood & Turnkey - Chisholm Hunter - Baba's Kitchen - Asset Alliance Group - Blixen Travel - NFU Mutual - JFM Electrical - Deans Pharmacy Group - Designworks Scotland - Gavin Watson Printers - Equi's Ice Cream - THOMAS TUNNOCK LIMITED - Glencairn Crystal Studio Ltd - The Malcolm Group A special thank you goes to everyone who generously donated prizes to our Online Auction and Grand Auction. Your support helped create an unforgettable experience for our guests and played a significant role in achieving this remarkable fundraising total. Every pound raised will help Maggie's continue providing free practical, emotional and psychological support to people affected by cancer across Lanarkshire. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who played a part in making Maggie's at the Moulsdale 2026 such an outstanding success. Together, you are helping to ensure that nobody has to face cancer alone.

We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who donated blood on Wednesday the 5th of August at our blood donation session at our Heritage Centre. In total, 44 pints of blood were collected, which can be used to save 132 lives! Each pint of blood is separated into red blood cells, plasma and platelets and so each pint saves 3 lives. Thank you to everyone who donated! #GiveBlood #SaveLives #BloodDonation #TheMalcolmGroup
