“A reminder of how much simple human connection matters.” #TeamAVEVA in Singapore volunteered at SASCO’s Senior Citizen Home, making wonton soup together and sharing stories with one another. We’re grateful to our team for using an Action for Good day to make a meaningful difference in their local community. Showing that even seemingly small acts like sharing food, time and stories can make a lasting impact. At AVEVA, our colleagues around the world can use three paid days of leave each year to support the causes that matter to them through Action for Good. Find out more here: https://okt.to/qW5d07

To meet increasing global energy needs, industry is looking to nuclear to fill the gaps in energy supply. However, for too long, nuclear development has been measured in decades rather than years. This is changing - and fast. Not only is the regulatory environment becoming more favorable to nuclear energy, but also there is new, increasingly viable technology that promises to simplify the finances and logistics that too often slow down nuclear development. Small modular reactors (SMR) possess the potential to make going nuclear a more efficient process - reducing the cost, time, and overall risk of such projects. Want to learn how? Nearly every Chief Sustainability Officer role looks different. Different mandates, team sizes, titles and reporting structures. But there is one responsibility we almost all share: the sustainability report. At a time when sustainability expectations are evolving rapidly, it's fair to ask: do these reports still matter? I believe they do. Not because any report is perfect, and not because every metric tells the whole story. They matter because they create accountability. They require us to measure, disclose, and stand behind our progress. They force honest conversations about what's working, what isn't, and what comes next. They also represent something much bigger than a publication. Our 2025 Sustainability Report is the result of a tremendous collective effort. I'm deeply grateful to the 50+ members of AVEVA's sustainability community who helped drive the programs, gather the data, challenge assumptions, and bring this report to life. And to the many leaders and teams across our business who continue to embed sustainability into how we operate and serve our customers—thank you. 🌍 This year, AVEVA helped customers save and avoid more than 35 million tonnes of CO₂e emissions—a powerful reminder that our greatest opportunity for impact is helping industry become more sustainable. Publishing a report isn't the finish line. It's the close of one chapter and the start of the next. 👉 Read the full report: https://lnkd.in/ezvgmwEq #Sustainability #Leadership #AVEVA #ItTakesAVillage

Schneider Electric has today announced its entry into a definitive agreement to acquire Cognite Holding B.V., the industrial software leader headquartered in Arizona, USA. Subject to customary closing conditions, including the receipt of required regulatory approvals, Cognite’s enterprise-wide data contextualization capabilities and leading-edge agentic #AI will be integrated into AVEVA’s CONNECT industrial intelligence platform. AVEVA CEO Caspar Herzberg said, “This is a significant step forward in Schneider Electric and AVEVA’s joint strategy to build a leading global industrial intelligence portfolio. This acquisition accelerates our CONNECT strategy with additional innovative expertise and the transformational capabilities of Cognite's Data Fusion, Atlas AI, and Flows technology. Their platform adds innovative enterprise-wide data contextualization capabilities, leading agentic AI, and a procedural App framework that will drive industrial intelligence at scale within the critical industries we serve. We are pleased to bring the team from Cognite into our AVEVA community. I look forward to the industrial transformation that we will drive together.” “Cognite has built something rare; a truly industrial-grade AI platform that turns the complexity of operational data into competitive advantage. By bringing Cognite into Schneider Electric and AVEVA, we unite the world's most comprehensive energy management and automation infrastructure with the software and AI capabilities to make it natively intelligent. Together, we go beyond connecting systems. We give them the ability to think, adapt, and act. This is what industrial intelligence looks like at scale.” said Olivier Blum. We’ve just published AVEVA’s 2025 Sustainability Report.   I’m extremely proud of the progress #TeamAVEVA has made on the ambitions we set out five years ago.   Across all three key dimensions—our technology handprint, operational footprint and inclusive culture—we made tangible strides in 2025:   ☑️ Helped customers save and avoid more than 35 million tCO2e ☑️ Reduced our own Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 95% and Scope 3 emissions by 34% from a 2019 base year ☑️ Achieved Fair Wage Network certification and Platinum EcoVadis rating   These kinds of impacts require unstinting commitment and continuous innovation across the business ecosystem.   The publication of this year’s report is a moment to celebrate, but also to reflect on the journey still ahead.   I encourage you to read the full report: https://lnkd.in/dXK9R3Eg

Our 2025 #Sustainability Report is now live, spotlighting how we’re working with our customers in leveraging #IndustrialIntelligence to drive more efficient, resilient, and sustainable operations - for a positive impact on industry, people and planet. In 2025, our technology helped customers save and avoid more than 35 million tCO2e. Together we turned innovation into action by advancing six employee hackathon ideas into production to tackle real-world industrial sustainability challenges. We also took important steps in our own journey, including a 95% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from our 2019 base year, our first major purchase of sustainable aviation fuel certificates five years ahead of schedule, and continued our commitment in building an inclusive culture through the publication of our first global inclusion report. These outcomes reflect a shared commitment with our customers and partners: using data, AI, and industrial insight to steward the world’s resources more responsibly. The Industrial Intelligence Report - published last month by IMD and AVEVA - found that 83% of organizations reported that embedding digital ecosystems resulted in improved resilience to disruptions. But it also found that in practice, organizations are mostly using digital ecosystems to improve what they already do, prioritizing customer experience, commercialization speed, and ecosystem-wide automation.   We took a look at one organization that has built a highly structured digital ecosystem, the Port of Rotterdam. Its network includes freight forwarders, customs houses, shipping lines, trucking, rail, and inland waterway operators, all sharing data to keep goods moving efficiently.
